Entering a boat can be difficult when you have a disability.
Sometimes more than two people are required to lift
onboard. Ask someone on the dock if you don't have
enough people on hand. It is easy to say – ”would you
mind taking a handle…?” Out on the lake, the boom of
the sailboat and ropes can become aids which supplement
the bathing seat when you want to take a dip. Your own
ideas are worth their weight in gold where things have not
been adapted to your needs.
